merry christmas children's book swap!!

That's right, I am hosting another holiday swap! :) This one is a bit different though. I love when my 4-year old son receives mail and gets to open something fabulous! It is so special to send a fun package to a child, and you know they will truly appreciate anything you send! So I thought I would host a Merry Christmas Children's Book Swap!!

For this swap, you will send your partner (another mom and child pair!!) a Christmas children's book, along with 3 things to go with it... toys, coloring books, activities, stickers, stuffed animals, holiday candy, handmade items etc!! Remember that Etsy always has great toys and stuffed animals, so that might be a good resource. Get creative and pack up your swap box with things you know the child will love- this is Christmas, so it can all be holiday themed if you would like!! Once you receive your partner's questionaire, it should be easy for you to choose things you know the child will enjoy!! I am thinking the price limit for these boxes should be around $20, exluding the book, so make sure to send a quality box that you would be happy to receive.

**A note about the book: It must be NEW, or in very, very good condition!! You may purchase your books on Amazon, etc- BUT they have to be "Like New" in order for you to send them! I want all the kids to feel as if they are receiving brand new, special books!!!

**If you have more than one child, please specify if you would like to do ONE swap box for all the children together and send ONE to someone else. OR if you would like separate swap boxes for each child, in which case you will be sending more than one also!!!**

**You do not have to be a momma to participate- grandmas are welcome to participate with their grandkids as well!!! :) Just specify that in your filled out form!!**

We are going to keep things pretty simple here, since I know many of you are already pretty bogged down for the holiday season. I will leave the swap open until November 14th, and then will assign partners that weekend. You will have until December 9th to mail your packages, so that the kids receive them in plenty of time for Christmas. I REALLY want to stress how important it is to follow through on this swap- there will be kids waiting to open their swap boxes, so please do not participate if you are going to flake on this!!!

If you would like to participate, leave me a comment on this post and please email me at hollyndevlin@gmail.com with your answers to the following questionairre:

Name:
Mailing Address:
Email Address:
Blog Address:
Willing to swap international?:
Child's Name:
Child's Age:
Clothing Size:
Likes/Dislikes (anything in order to help your partner select the perfect items for your child!):
Any favorite holiday books that you already own:
Any other info that would be helpful to your partner:

If you do NOT email me your questionaire, I will not include you in the swap! I will email you back when I receive your filled out form and confirm that I have your name down for the swap, so if you don't receive an email confirmation from me, email me again!! I may have missed the email.

Thank you for participating and this should be a fun way to get the kids involved in our swaps and a festive way to celebrate the season!!! :) Cant wait to get started!! xo!

I signed up for your other christmas swap and I have not received my email about it yet. I am really bad about accidentally deleting emails and just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed my email about my swap partner. My name is Lindsey Langhans and my email is cutie84192@cs.com
Thanks!
