VOTE TODAY!

Happy Election Day!!!
I feel like I have expressed many of my political opinions here, and I am proud of that. I am not the blogger who keeps my opinions to myself! I am trying to get the word out and do my part to raise awareness for the things I believe in! So indulge me in this last political post, and
GO VOTE TODAY!!!!

Go McCain/Palin!!!
Vote SMART and do not give up today, McCain supporters!!! Each vote counts, so get out there and let's make a difference!
I can't stand that smug little Obama. It scares me that SO many young people are going out today in record numbers to vote for Obama. I walk through my school and count the Obama stickers on the cars... it is sad that people think "change" must come from someone with ZERO experience, when McCain is so obviously qualified for the job.

I don't know how many of you live in California and are experiencing this Prop 8 madness, but I have to say, I am SO SICK of all the "yes on 8" supporters on every street corner, waving their signs about "protecting families"! GET IT RIGHT. Freedom should be for everyone. How would YOU like someone to take away the personal freedom of marrying who you LOVE? Ugh, makes me sick. NO on 8.

Fiction:
Prop 8 doesn’t discriminate against gay people.
Fact: Prop 8 is simple: it eliminates the rights for same-sex couples to marry. Prop 8 would deny equal protections and write discrimination against one group of people—lesbian and gay people—into our state constitution.

Fiction:
Teaching children about same-sex marriage will happen here unless we pass Prop 8.
Fact: Not one word in Prop 8 mentions education. And no child can be forced, against the will of their parents, to be taught anything about health and family issues at school. California law prohibits it.California’s top educators including Superintendent of Schools Jack O’Connell and California Teachers all agree: Prop 8 has nothing to do with education.

Fiction:
Unless Prop 8 passes, California parents won’t have the right to object to what their children are taught in school.
Fact: California law clearly gives parents and guardians broad authority to remove their children from any health instruction if it conflicts with their religious beliefs or moral convictions.
VOTE NO ON PROP 8.

I am a vegetarian and fully support animal rights.. the right for a poor animal to at least lead a happy life before he gets slaughtered for food.

"It’s simply wrong to confine calves raised for veal, breeding pigs, and egg-laying hens in tiny cages barely larger than their bodies. We wouldn’t force our pets to live in filthy, cramped cages for their whole lives, and we shouldn’t force farm animals to endure such suffering and misery. All animals, including those raised for food, deserve humane treatment."

I feel like I have given my opinion here and now let's leave it up to the votes.
GO OUT AND VOTE TODAY!!!!
Every vote counts.

Nice Prop 8 explanation!!! I was in the Pasqual area today and saw a sea of yellow "Yes on 8's" EVERYWHERE!!! Even the High School put them up all over their fencing (can they even do that?).. I was just sick! Those hicks!

I am definitely NOT an obama fan!
However, I do agree with Prop 8. I think God defines marriage between a man and a woman. It flat out shows that homosexuality is wrong in the bible...so that's my view on it. It was nice to read your opinions though as well! :o)

Hope you have a good day!

I think that is great you have the banner about animals welfare for farm animals.

Thanks for making people aware of this important issue.
