disappointment... and some holiday cheer!

I'm sure you all know I was quite disappointed last night when the election results rolled in... my vote was not for Obama, and I truly feel like America made the wrong decision. That being said, I better get used to the idea, as he IS going to be our president for the next four years. (Yes, four. Hopefully not eight!)

Onto happier things, I am SO glad that Prop 2 was passed in California... the farm animals will have it so much better, and I am so thankful that voters took this one into consideration. The jury is still out on Prop 8, but it doesn't look good for the "no" side..

Well since the election is OVER, let's get to happier things!! I am busily making a bunch of fun Christmas items for my shop, and will have them posted next week. But if you are feeling the holiday bug bite you already, go peek at my mom's shop! She has the most amazing ornaments, stockings, table runners, quilts, etc!!! They are beautifully made and you will LOVE it all. Go peek. :)
Sparkled and stuffed candy canes that have been oh-so-popular this holiday season already! Andrew even carries one around the house as his "stuffed animal" of sorts.. it's name is "Candy" haha!

This stocking amazes me- sooooo gorgeous!! Go buy one up hehe!! :)

It's ok Holly, you can choose not to like our next president (OBAMA!!!!!) for the next 8 years.. because you got your past 8 years with your guy.. and now it's our turn! and boy did I hate the past 8 years! Plus you have to admit how awesome it is that our children (and us) will know what it's like to have the first black president!!!!

are you racist? lol..j/k

P.S..... I am officially super disappointed in California and their ignorance, hate and discrimination

um...I'm in love with your site. Ha! I found it off of Yarni Gras, and I can't get enough. You are ProMcCain (as am I)-and obsessed with Twilight. I seriously have to contain my inner screaming 13 year old when I see the previews!!
So glad I happened across your site!

I am not happy about Obama winning. I was totally for McCain/Palin...but oh well. Not much we can do about it now. I will respect him as our President and just pray for him to make the right decisions...although I don't like how liberal he is. oh well.

Cute Christmas goodies! My vote was for McCain/Palin, too, and I'm also a little scared about what is to come, but I'm trying to be as supportive and positive as I can be(even though it's going to be hard!).
