It's been a while since I've been on my blog. Oops! With a baby around, sometimes things get crazy and my blog is the furthest thing from my mind! That being said, I'm back and I am even participating in The Pleated Poppy's link up today. :)

 

Sweater: Target (I love oversized comfy sweaters, so I found this extra-large on clearance in the plus sized area. Obviously too big, but I love cozy and this is totally it!)
Leggings: Lauren Conrad brand from Kohl's (love her line there!!!)

 

Dress: Target (for like $7 on clearance. Love!)
Shoes: Aerosoles and so amazing. :)

Again, I love to shop in a budget and love finding things in sale. I adore putting together simple outfits and am a bargain super all the way. Keep following my blog for more! :)

What I Wore Wednesday

Lately, I have been in a little bit of a clothing rut. Since I had my baby only two months ago, I am still feeling fairly frumpy most of the time. So dressing super cute has not been my number one priority. Comfortable outfits have been my go-to lately. :) I think that publicly displaying my outfits will help with that a bit, so here we go! Do you participate in What I Wore Wednesday?

 

Here is my caveat... I do not buy expensive clothing. My favorite places to shop include Forever 21, Kohl's, Target, Old Navy and yes, even Wal-Mart!! I love finding a great deal and I love bargain shopping, so these places always seem to have the best deals for my money. Here are some of my recent outfits.

So I admit, I've been bad about taking photos.
I've been busy, which has gotten the best of me in some areas.
However, I've snapped a few in the past two weeks that I will share with you! :)

Another week has gone by and I actually did take photos most of the week. A few days slipped my mind, but hey.. I'm human. :) Want to play along with The Pleated Poppy? Thursday, Part 2
Thunderstorms and a billion etsy orders to fill called for some sweats. Keeping it real, folks.

Pants: Everlast leggings, from Marshalls
Slippers: Target, very recently {love the snuggly leopard print, and PS. Andrew now has matching ones.. he got a women's size small hehe! :) }
And PS.
My dog wouldn't leave my side because of the thunder. I couldn't shove him out of the photo, so say hello to Henry! :)


Monday
A day of working & exercising- a long walk in the rain was super fun!
Sweatshirt: Thirfted, a buck fifty and so cozy!
Tshirt: Any Office fans reading this? It's the shirt that everyone wore in the show for the "rabies-Meredith" walk a few years ago LOL.
Pants: Old Navy yoga
Shoes: New Balance


Tuesday
A trip to the pumpkin patch!
Dress: Target, very recently {seriously- run to Target to get this- the back is even cuter!}
Leggings: Forever 21, 3 bucks!
Sweater: Forever 21
Boots: Chinese Laundry a few years ago, but there are similar ones still for sale! They are awesome. :)

And of course, Andrew wanted to play along as well. So if you are interested, here is what he's got on...

Jeans- Walmart, very recently as well {And he loves them- go figure!}
Shoes- Osiris shoes from Kohl's very recently {and on sale for $13 in his size, woo! We got two pairs!}

Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy had a super idea.

She decided to start documenting what she wore each week

in an effort to stop dressing in sweats all the time

and start paying attention to how she left the house.

I love this.

I've been meaning to participate for the longest time,

but haven't gotten it together to actually take photos!

Well here I am participating this week, yay!

Monday.

Taking Andrew to school and then headed to the {nice, cool, air conditioned} mall with my mom. :)

He had to be in on this before he got dressed.

Not sure he really gets what the whole WIWW deal is. :)

Friday.

Off to the Ryan Star concert downtown with my sister.

I only took two pictures {fail!} but it's better than none.
